Senior Medical Affairs Manager – BeNeLux region
An important permanent hire for a small well-established Global organisation with a focus on supporting patients suffering from Diabetes through the development of innovative technologies. This company is entering a growth phase across the European region, which includes looking to recruit a dedicated medical affairs professional own activities for Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
Key Responsibilities:
– Development and execution of all medical affairs strategy for countries in-region
– Leading activities such as evidence generation, medical education, Key Opinion Leader (KOL/HCP) engagement, and translation of insights and knowledge for internal use
– Working on assigned projects closely with cross-functional colleagues such as Commercial/Marketing, Sales, Regulatory Affairs and Market Access
– Leading local/regional medical affairs activities in line with Global medical strategy, and work closely with global colleagues to navigate localised market conditions and challenges
– Supporting the execution of company-sponsored and investigator initiated trials
– Reviewing medical content for use in external engagement and communication channels
Candidate Requirements:
– Life science degree (e.g. MD, PharmD, PhD or MSc)
– Prior pharam industry experience in a similar medical affairs role over a number of years
– Experience working in Diabetes and/or medical technology
– Proven experience leading medical affairs strategy and success driving KOL engagement plans
– Ability to work proactively in a small company environment where the structure is flat and resources a limited
– Fluent in Dutch and English
