Ecologi
Pharma Partners have partnered up with Ecologi to reduce their carbon footprint and help fund climate projects. They have committed to planting 20,000 trees by the end of 2022, and this partnership will also support local families and restore wildlife habitats across the globe. In addition to an office powered by 100% renewable energy and a flexible working pattern that reduces overall emissions, every employee is carbon positive both inside and outside of work.
Fundraising
We are grateful to be in a position where we can give back to the local community. Over the past two years, we have raised over £30,000 for charity, from hosting events and participating in various sporting activities. Following our charitable success in recent years, having partnered with Midlands Air Ambulance and MacMillan Cancer Support, our most recent charitable partner was decided via a company-wide vote. For 2021/2022, our chosen charity is the Make a Wish Foundation. However, we endeavour to work with smaller local charities throughout the year too. In addition, we also love taking part in challenges that allow us to raise money for some of our favourite causes, such as the LandAid SleepOut.
Community
This year we celebrated becoming the best recruitment company to work for in the UK by the Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For Q1 2022. A number of factors were considered in the rankings, but we were particularly commended for our environmental initiatives, community initiatives and employee rewards. During the pandemic, we have encouraged staff to undertake charity work; if they found themselves furloughed due to reduced workload. We utilise the huge skill-base we have acquired amongst our employees to support people, even if they’re not on our radar. As a business, we have donated unused laptops to children struggling with homeschooling and will continue to support/assist those in need.
Dedicated ESG Team
We take our Environmental, Social and Governance very seriously, and we’re always looking for ways to help, both locally and globally. So, we’ve put together a dedicated team of volunteers to keep us proactive and organised in our ESG efforts. Our dedicated ESG team put together a number of charitable initiatives throughout the year including engaging in national charitable days, such as the Macmillan Coffee Morning and National Walking Month. We have also organised dedicated working days for volunteering in local charities, covered by the business.
